Homeschooler’s
Minecraft Club
Do your kids love it as much as ours do?
Are you looking for an opportunity for yours to play Minecraft with others?
Minecraft is such an amazing sandbox style game that allows kids of all ages to create and play without realizing how much they are actually learning.
If they are just playing the game alone, they’re practicing their time and resource management skills, using basic math and science principles and even some entry level coding knowledge too. For those that really get into Minecraft, they quickly find opportunities to learn more advanced programming and coding, building of machines, developing circuitry and so much more!
In a group setting, now we’re talking about practicing communication and teamwork skills, developing problem solving and critical thinking skill as well as gaining experience in working with others to accomplish goals and missions. The sky is the limit with Minecraft and the opportunities to connect with others creates pure magic!
...What’s It All About...
Homeschooler’s Minecraft Club is an opportunity for kids to learn all the things above in a safe environment with other homeschoolers! We’ve got missions, challenges, games, prizes and so much more! It’s pretty much 3 different servers to fit any kid’s way of playing, but all in one awesome club :)
To keep kids safe online, we purchase private servers and Zoom accounts to help kids connect twice a week to play Minecraft together! Our club sessions run in 6-week intervals throughout the year and only costs $24 per child, per round - siblings get a discount. With 12 classes each round, it ends up being only $2 per class!
All money collected covers the costs of private servers and zoom accounts with left over funds going right into our Creative Connections Collective program. This helps us with providing families with scholarships as well as purchasing supplies and/or rent space for other activities.

Your child will need access to a computer or laptop with Minecraft Java version installed and access to Zoom via computer, laptop, phone or tablet.
Gamer headsets are not required, however, parents in the past do find them helpful as our classes can get a little loud :)
If you have more than one child playing in the same room though, you will need to have headsets for each of them so they don’t create echoing issues on zoom.
