Homeschool Hangouts!
Throughout our homeschooling journey so far, we have found such a deep appreciation for unstructured play time. Our brains can only take in so much information before humans need opportunities to practice what they’ve learned. Unstructured play provides a great way for our kids to try new things, connect with friends, use up some of their insane amounts of energy in fun ways as well as practice all their social, emotional, problem solving, and critical thinking skills in real time without realizing they are actually learning.
The purpose of our homeschool hangouts is to provide safe and fun opportunities for our homeschooling community to connect and play on a regular basis. Whether it’s jumping together at the local trampoline park, meeting up at the library, hiking some trails or playing at the park, there’s no agenda to these sessions other than playing and having fun!
